Michael E. Caradimitropoulo
CEO – Chairman – Owner
Michael has worked in the insurance industry for over 33 years. Michael began his insurance career in 1985, after graduating from Susquehanna University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in marketing. He developed a large book of middle market business as the leading salesman and partner, organizing the agency’s sales strategies and service standards. In 1997, his agency was acquired by Summit Global Partners, a national broker based in Dallas, TX. Mike was pivotal in developing and implementing national strategies enabling Summit Global Partners to grow from $15,000,000 in revenue to over $50,000,000 in less than three years.
In December 1999, Michael founded Pinnacle Insurance Solutions after assembling a management team and closing with SGP on the purchase of a large book of New Jersey and New York clients. Since then, Pinnacle has grown into a leading mid-sized regional and national broker handling a diverse range of large and middle market commercial and professional accounts.
Michael has served on the Board of Directors for Enterprise Bank and has also been featured in “Forbes” magazine and “Self” magazine. Michael’s passions include family, sports, fitness, and coaching.
Maria T. Ortiz
Maria T. Ortiz joined Pinnacle Risk Solutions in May of 2000. Prior to joining Pinnacle, Maria was a senior account executive managing commercial accounts for a regional New Jersey based agency. Prior to that assignment, Maria was a key executive in managing a personal lines practice for elite customers. During these years she held several positions of increasing responsibility. Maria’s career spans many years in the insurance industry, working in a wide range of capacities including client relations, agency operations, business development, account management and marketing.
Maria is a Partner at Pinnacle with the primary responsibility of managing people and resources while responding to the needs of diverse, global, large and mid-market insurance accounts. Her ability to routinely exceed client expectations, while protecting their complex risk exposures, has distinguished her career and benefited Pinnacle and its clients.
Maria continually refines her knowledge through self-study and continuing education. She holds a NJ Insurance Brokers License. She resides in upstate New York with her family.
Rich is a long-term resident of Scotch Plains, NJ with his wife Pam and their 4 children. He is very active in his community as a coach and volunteer and serves on several local boards. Rich and Pam were recently honored with “volunteer couple of the year” award at the Scotch Plains Mayor’s Gala in 2017. His personal interests are volunteering on several boards and committees, church activities and special needs youth programs.
Rich entered the insurance business immediately after graduating from Seton Hall University in 1985. He received the coveted CIC designation in 2001.
Over the course of 30 years in the industry, Rich has built a large and diversified commercial lines book of business. He is a partner at Pinnacle Insurance Solutions and his focus is on writing new and servicing renewal accounts of a large and often complex nature.
Rich is renowned for applying his vast knowledge and expertise he has acquired over the years to provide long term solutions to often very challenging insurance issues for many of the larger clients here at Pinnacle. He is a valued resource that all fellow employees admire and utilize.
He is a tremendous resource for the entire agency and we are proud to have Rich as a partner.
Steven V. Caggiano
Steven, a Partner at Pinnacle, joined the Pinnacle team in 2001. He brings almost 25 years’ experience in the insurance service and marketing industry, and has in-depth knowledge of the business. Steven’s “hands on” leadership style routinely puts him at the point of service and providing directions or solving customer and employee situations.
In August 2005, Steven was appointed as Vice President before becoming a Partner and is currently responsible for management of a significant and diverse industry book of business as well as management and direction of the service team at Pinnacle.
Steven is married and has two sons, of which he spends most of his personal time with.
George J. Garcia
George began his professional career with the formation of an internet startup company, which designed and installed fiber optic technology systems in over 300 NYC buildings, including the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building and the World Trade Center. As founder and CEO, George was responsible for growing the company from a small startup to over $4,000,000 in sales while employing more than 25 employees. He sold the company in 2001.
George joined Pinnacle Risk Solutions in 2002. He has worked in a wide range of duties during his tenure at Pinnacle including business development, risk management, client relations, account management and marketing. Currently, George serves as Vice President focusing on new and renewal sales and risk management of middle market and large commercial accounts. He is responsible for developing programs and initiatives to enhance Pinnacle’s sales and operations throughout the United States. George’s experience spans numerous verticals including construction, distribution, transportation, professional services and real estate.
George is very active in the community by coaching various youth sports programs and also spends time as a volunteer adolescent addictions counselor.
George graduated Montclair State University in 2003 and routinely speaks before students in the area of personal and professional development.
Vice President of Marketing
John D’Andrea joined Pinnacle Risk Solutions in 2018 and has 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. He is a graduate of Seton Hall University and his past experience includes work at other regional agencies and a large international brokerage firm.
His primary qualifications involve designing insurance coverage and the analysis of complex risks for commercial insurance clients. Responsibilities and knowledge include the marketing and placements of both large and middle-market Specialty programs applicable to a range of various industries including construction, transportation, financial risks and manufacturing. He is the firm’s point of contact for the formulation of marketing strategies which optimizes insurance solutions for customers, while simultaneously representing the voice of Pinnacle and the main representation of our clients in the insurance marketplace.
